The 0FC-3429-H6 Open Front Bulk Cart is designed with a high-cube configuration to maximize storage capacity while minimizing floor and truck space usage. Its convenient opening facilitates effortless loading and unloading of goods across diverse industrial applications. Constructed from 100% recyclable polyethylene, the cart features a seamless design that provides exceptional resistance to moisture and most chemicals. With internal dimensions measuring 60″ (L) x 29.8″ (W) x 40″ (H), the OFC-3429-H6 offers a substantial 24 bushel capacity. Standard features include a 3/4″ painted plywood base with two swivel and two rigid 6″ medium/heavy duty polyurethane casters in a four-corner mount configuration. Engineered for robust performance, the cart supports up to 800 pounds. Two Rigid, Two Swivel Corner Placement

When your application requires the carts to travel long distances in a straight line, such as down an aisle or corridor, this popular arrangement is ideal. The cart is steered from the swivel end. Wheel brakes on the swivel casters make this a great setup when transporting by truck.

Cart & Container Handles

The choice of handles for your carts and containers should be carefully considered. Nylon rope handles with rubber hand holds are the standard handles used on forkliftable containers, bulk containers and bulk trucks. Road cases and security carts come standard with surface chest handles. Bulk carts come standard with 6″ x 2″ hand holes. A selection of optional handles is available where special requirements, aesthetics, ergonomics and efficiency are a consideration.

Nylon Rope

The standard handle on most containers is the ¼” nylon rope handle with a rubber grip

Surface Chest

The standard handle on the road cases and security carts is a spring-loaded surface chest handle with a rubber grip.

Hand Holes

6” x 2” hand holes are standard on all bulk carts.

13" Grab Handle

Grab handles can be used on all Bulk Carts. Handles can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Recessed Chest

Recess chest handles can be used on any Smooth Wall Containers, Carts or Bushel Trucks.

Caster Upgrades
The standard casters used on our Bushel Trucks, Bulk Carts and Road Cases were selected for a wide assortment of applications and working environments. However, each application is unique and you should consider all the factors when selecting the right caster and wheel for your application. We offer standard caster upgrades and caster mounting that take into consideration weight capacity, roll ability, rolling surface, overall height, price and extreme environmental considerations.

Dollies & Casters

Matching Dolly

For some applications, casters attached to the plastic containers or the use of a bulk container is impractical. You can have the security of a reusable plastic container and the mobility of a bulk truck with a matching dolly.

Dollies are custom-designed and assembled to meet your budget and application. They can be fabricated in steel, aluminum or plywood. Caster size and style are carefully selected based on the conditions and your application.

Adding Casters

You’ve found the perfect Myton container for your application but you want it mobile. We can mount a base and casters on any style Myton container. Casters and base construction will be selected to give you the best combination of serviceability and economics.

Raised Dolly

Raised dollies help to elevate the platform of smaller containers (such as the MTA model,) for better ergonomic position. Reinforced steel construction  provides toughness with wheel options suited for your particular demands.

Caster Placement

Four Swivel, Corner Mount

This is our standard caster configuration. Ideal for working in confined, cluttered work areas, where movement in any direction, including sideways is needed. When loading trucks, work vans or staging cart under or around production equipment, this will be the best caster mounting option. Under most applications with lighter loads and on the smaller cart sizes pushing the carts in a straight line can be accomplished safely and with little effort.

Two Swivel, Two Rigid Corner Mount

When your application requires the carts to travel long distances in a straight line, such as down an aisle or corridor, this popular arrangement is ideal. The cart is steered from the swivel end. Wheel brakes on the swivel casters make this a great setup when transporting by truck.

Diamond Pattern

The Diamond Pattern uses two swivel and two rigid or fixed casters, mounted in a diamond pattern, with the swivel located at the front and rear of the cart. These are your steering casters. The rigid casters are normally mounted slightly higher at the midpoint of the cart, providing a slight tipping action to the cart. This enables the operator to navigate over obstructions on the floor surface such as cables, cracks & thresholds. The diamond pattern is highly maneuverable and tracks well over long distances. This pattern works well with lighter loads and is less stable with heavy loads.

Six Caster Set

There are applications where extreme weight and on some larger carts, where more than four casters are needed to support the carts or to facilitate rollability. Four swivel casters are mounted on the corners, the rigid casters are mounted at the midpoint of the cart and are normally mounted slightly higher, providing a slight tipping action to the cart. This enables the operator to navigate over obstructions on the floor surface such as cables, cracks and thresholds.

Galvanized Steel Base

Galvanized steel base with rolled edges is a cost effective way to add durable rigidity without compromising on weight.

Forkliftable Base

Designed specifically for applications where casters aren’t required, forkliftable bases provide a durable solution for moving Myton containers with forklifts or pallet jacks.

Forklift Tines

A hybrid solution to material handling that incorporates the mobility of wheels with the liftability of of forklift access. Custom built and available for all models, tines provide the ultimate mix of versatility and function.

Inserts & Dividers

Dividers and foam inserts can be either permanent or removable.  Whether you are looking for part protection from shock and vibration, or separation for better load distribution or kitting applications, Myton can provide an economical solution. Divider materials are carefully selected for durability and comprise a wide variety of materials including plastic, polyurethane foam, wood and die cut corrugated plastic.

Continuous Steel Hinges

Only available on smooth wall style containers and carts. Lids can be hinged either along one side, both ends or at the midpoint of the lid.

Nylon Web Hinges

Designed to accommodate our carts and containers where the perimeter is too narrow to mount a continuous piano-type hinge. If all you need is a way to keep the lid attached to the container, this is an inexpensive way to accomplish the task. By fastening web belts to the lid, not only do you hinge the lid, you also provide a way to secure and lock the container.

Two Point Hasp Hinges

Designed to accommodate our carts and containers where the perimeter is too narrow to mount a continuous piano-type hinge. A multi-jointed heavy gauge hasp is fastened to the container and the lid.

Locking & Sealing Devices

Permanent Security Straps

The Permanent Security Strap is a convenient way to secure your container and protect it’s contents. The nylon web belt set consists of a “D” ring and metal tip section that is firmly attached to the container sides. The belt is passed through the “D” ring until the grommets on the tip section line up. You can use a seal or small padlock to secure your container.

Hasp Lock

The HASP LOCK is constructed from heavy gauge, plated steel. The hasp is firmly fastened to the container lid and the staple is attached to the container wall. The hasp assembly can be secured with a padlock or seal. Depending on the level of security desired and the container being used, up to eight (8) hasps may be needed to secure the container. A cable assembly can be used to connect the hasp locks and the container can then be secured with one padlock or seal.
Drains

Bulkhead fittings

can be installed on your container and will accept spigots, valves or hose connections (not included). The three piece PVC fitting comes with two neoprene gaskets that are sandwiched between the container’s wall and the fitting to prevent leakage. Threaded drain plug (not shown) is included. ¾” inside diameter is standard. Other sizes are available.

Spin Weld Fittings

are permanently fused to the container wall. They can be installed on your plastic container and will accept spigots, valves or hose connections (not included). The spin weld fittings are molded of a compatible material to the container. A high-speed router is used to spin the desired diameter fitting at a high RPM, fusing the fitting to the container wall. Spin weld fittings are available as both external and internal threads, raised or flush.
Decoration & Pouches

Stenciling

Stenciling your company name or other important information can be stenciled on opposite corners of your containers. One inch or two inch all capital letters are standard. Letter size and number of characters are limited by the size of the container and the available flat surface.

Mold in Graphics®

Myton offers multi-color graphic transfers using Mold in Graphic Systems®. These transfers are not decals. Company name, logo, consecutive numbering or other important information can be permanently molded into the container surface.

Vinyl Lettering & Graphics

Adhesive-backed Vinyl Graphics provide a high quality solution for an application needing high resolution images and text. Graphics help promote your company and create brand awareness. Vinyl Graphics and text endure tough environmental conditions like sunlight, moisture and abrasion. Graphic size is limited by the size of the container and the available flat surface.

Consecutive Numbering

Keep track of your plastic containers with a sequential numbering system. Two inch numbers are stenciled on opposite corners of your containers.

Document Pouches

The vinyl document pouch is constructed with heavy-duty reinforced vinyl and is permanently fastened to the container. The  pouches are available in three standard sizes: 18” x 13”, 14″ x 10″ and 8” x 8”.  They feature a clear vinyl front panel and hook and loop closure. Custom sizes and design styles are available but may be subject to minimum quantities.
